Overview

Solaria at Mall Bali Galeria presents a dependable choice for those seeking familiar and comforting dining amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Kuta. Located on the first floor of this popular shopping destination, the restaurant embraces the fast-casual dining model with a broad menu that spans Indonesian, Chinese, and Western favorites. Its strategic position within the mall makes it an accessible stop for shoppers and families alike, offering a convenient retreat for a quick meal.

The menu highlights resonate well with local tastes, featuring dishes such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Bistik Sapi Tepung, and the celebrated Nasi Goreng Bebek Cabe Ijo. These options showcase a balance between traditional Indonesian flavors and Western influences, making it inclusive for a diverse audience. Notably, the Seafood Kwetiaw Siram stands out for its thick, flavorful broth, appealing to those craving a rich, hearty dish. Pasta lovers can find solace in the Spaghetti Bolognaise, while fried rice and noodle enthusiasts will appreciate generous portions of Bihun Goreng and Mie Siram Ayam.

Solaria’s ambiance reflects the functional simplicity expected of mall-based eateries. The space is recently renovated, clean, and equipped with ample seating that extends to the back and side areas, accommodating groups without a hassle. However, the air conditioning leaves room for improvement, as some diners find the area slightly warm on busy days. The layout supports a casual experience, ideal for quick lunches or easy dinners, especially for those who value speed and convenience.

Service at Solaria aligns with the pace of a fast-food establishment but benefits from attentive staff who maintain cleanliness and efficiency. Orders are placed and paid at the cashier, then delivered promptly to your table, ensuring minimal wait times. This straightforward process complements its target audience —busy shoppers, office workers, and families who desire a straightforward dining option without fuss.

Overall, Solaria at Mall Bali Galeria offers a solid blend of familiar comfort food served in a modest yet tidy environment. Its menu versatility, satisfactory portion sizes, and steady quality make it a reliable spot for anyone looking to enjoy a quick meal with a taste of local and international influences. While the space may feel cozy during peak hours and minor tweaks in seasoning could enhance some dishes, Solaria remains a trustworthy contender for casual dining in Bali’s bustling mall scene.

If we're talking about the food, I like eating at Solaria. The taste is similar, but here, the Seafood Kwetiau Siram has a thicker broth compared to the one at Level 21. The place is quite secluded, and honestly, it's hot and too cramped; that's what makes it less appealing.

Service: The service is average, similar to fast food in Indonesia but with better-quality food and a wider variety of menu options. The food is served quickly—usually within 30 minutes. Cleanliness: The restaurant is relatively new since it recently moved to this location. It is clean, as the staff regularly clear dirty tables promptly to accommodate more customers. However, the air conditioning could be improved, as it isn’t very cold. Food: The portion sizes are adequate. I ordered the green chili with anchovies fried rice, which tasted good, though it was a bit too salty for my preference. As a suggestion for improvement, the restaurant could consider adjusting the saltiness. Overall: Solaria is always a reliable choice if you want a quick and easy lunch or dinner. They offer a wide variety of menu options, including Indonesian, Chinese, and even Western dishes, so there’s something for everyone.

Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Solaria in this Bali Galeria mall occupied the old spot of Cafe Betawi. The place is newly renovated and has plenty of seat to the back and sides. It offers usual Indonesian’s diner menu, where everyone should be able to find something to fill the tummy. Nothing too elaborate or sumptuous, just regular meals. It’s my go-to chain when I need to have a quick, simple meal since it usually has a place to sit and the food is decent. Order at the cashier, pay on spot, and you’ll be assigned a table number where you can sit wherever you wish. Price is on medium side, but it’s good choice in term of pricing since the chain is usually located in malls, where the F&B choices tend to be more expensive or equal.

Wasnt feeling well and decided to go for my favorite comfort food. Ordered it thru an app and it helped me feel better! The noodles were generous but the topping could be better! The one at the airport was more generous imo. But the preparation was fairly quick! Kudos!

This is one of the newest Solaria locations in Bali. I would highly recommend their nasi ayam asem manis.
